For Art's Sake Bird Watch

This past weekend I had the pleasure to participate with many talented artists in For Art's Sake's second show called Bird Watch at Gallery 101 in Ft. Lauderdale. It was put together once again by my good friend Jose Lopez of Freedom Art. It was a 2 night event and afternoon luncheon with a screenprinting workshop, live music from a few bands and DJs and featured live wheatpasting. Here are some photos of the event:

My good friend Jose Lopez of Freedom Art is putting together 2-day art show in February and he invited me to be one of the showcasing artists. Check out the link below for more info:



FOR ART’S SAKE! is a two day art show exhibiting 16 artists presented by Freedom Art and IWAN. These artists will be showing personal pieces that range from a variety of eye-catching styles and elaborate artwork through mixed media. Freedom Art and IWAN’s goal is to showcase and support local artists and designers in South Florida and to take part in the enhancement and encouragement of the growth of an art culture in South Florida. The art show will take place on Friday & Saturday, February 19 & 20, 2010 from 6pm to 12am. Artwork will be available for purchase and on display until the February 26. Live music will be provided by DJ's Twilight Notes, Michelle Stevens, and band Alexander. Come and be a part of what will be one of the greatest art shows to come through South Florida.
